Would rebranding right now be wasteful?

Hey IH! Would love your thoughts on something. About 5 years ago we built Raize.it as a "two-way" to-do list, then scaled it back to a simple to do app. It's nothing ground-breaking, believe me!

I currently still work full time and have another project in the background, but recently it's occurred to me that since I'm no longer emotionally attached to Raize I should use it as a test bed for marketing.

I was thinking of rebranding it to something a bit more intuitive, and a .com preferably. On the other hand I feel like rebranding might be a form of procrastination on what I really should be doing, which is attracting an audience & acquiring users.

Any thoughts / opinions are welcome! The URL is https://www.raize.it/#!/

Thanks!

It sounds like you know the answer.
Sometimes you think you want someone else's opinion but it's just to offload.

Do you have any evidence that your current user acquisition is hindered by the brand?...

Go as straight to $ in the bank as you can and iterate after you see a problem avoiding premature optimisations

Based on that, you should really consider shutting it down and focusing your efforts elsewhere. It doesn't seem worth the effort to rebrand when you could do other things.
