Would this make you want to sign up as a developer?

The site is focused towards Israeli freelancers:

Appreciate any feedback

    Yes, definitely. Couple of points
Try to brighten up the website a little bit.
In the HOW DOES SKILLED WORK? section, you might want to use bright white box in the background and add the content on the top of it so it'll popup right in the eye and it'll look good.

    Overall, a pretty good website.

Hmm... Good point. The grey is there to distinguish between the sections but you're right. The contract there is now lower and doesn't stick out as much

      1. 2

I am saying that keep the gray section as it is. Just add 3 white boxes and then on the top of that write your 1,2,3 points.
        The differentiator is absolutely required.

I think the main message should get rid of the "We".
I.e "Find the best freelance jobs in Israel" - shorter and talks about the user, not about you

I think the "We" here is a key part of their added value. Sign-up and they do the leg work.

Also a good point. Now considering switching it back 😂

      Great point! Thanks

I like it. The messaging is clear and straightforward. I'd probably sign up if I am an Israeli freelancer.

One thing that is a bit confusing to me is the "A NETWORK OF ISRAEL'S FINEST" section. The listed languages, frameworks, and other technology seem quite random and I'm not sure of its purpose. Does it mean that you only accept developers using those tools (e.g., only Tensorflow, no PyTorch?)?

    1. 2

I was wondering the same. It's not grouped by Languages, Technologies etc. but just... random? I think it's also quite ugly (in comparison to the rest of the page which looks very clean with the comic style images!) to have just some text bullet points which look more like throwing in some buzz words.

      1. 2

Do you think it would help if I put some explanatory text above that section explaining that these are some the languages we offer freelance jobs in?

        1. 1

I'd definitely group it by e.g. Framework, Language, Platform and then change the headline above to something like "A NETWORK OF ISRAEL'S FINEST DEVELOPERS FOR". Also the logos are coming in from the right window edge but aren't going to the far left edge, they are disappearing already behind the first box

Hmm.. Thought I fixed that issue in the past. I see it happens on really large screens. Thanks for pointing that out and great suggestion! Will update this weekend

I appreciate the new initiative. @elie222 What's your plan to beat other freelancer marketplaces out there?

It's fine if this is a mock-up, you might need to think further when it takes off.

    Quick fix and consideration:

    • It's hard to trust your site without social proof and real customer case studies
    • Privacy, terms and condition?
    • Try to use real images instead of illustration from Undraw :p

Well there are 8 companies we’ve listed for social proof that we’ve worked with and there are many more we can add. Many of those listed are unicorns.
I will look to add quotes and case studies though. Thanks for the pointers!

Nothing feels revolutionary in it, but possibly the charge that comes at the end... IDK pricing.. but a solid landing page.

Nothing too revolutionary. We do what we say on the box :)

I like how this page looks. For me it's transparent and simply aesthetic. One thing that is unclear for me is whether I have to pay for your services or the company that looks for employees is paying the fee.
