Would you actually use an AI ‘marketing intern’ that does the boring stuff?”

Hey Indie Hackers,
I’m Clary, founder of uSpeedo.ai. We’re in the very early stage of building an AI marketing assistant — think of it as a “slightly clumsy but always available” marketing intern that helps with:

🗣️ Generating ad creatives and visuals from simple prompts
🗣️ Spotting trending topics across platforms
🗣️ Analyzing what your competitors are posting
🗣️ Drafting & publishing content across social channels automatically

Right now, it’s far from perfect. The product still needs a lot of iterations to feel right. That’s why I’m here — to learn, listen, and improve.
🙏 I’d be extremely grateful for your feedback:

  • Do you feel this solves a real problem?
  • Which feature feels most useful (or least)?
  • Any thoughts on positioning or niche audiences?
  • Anything about usability or product direction you’d change?

💡 To say thank you: if you share useful feedback, I’ll gladly send a small reward your way (coffee on me ☕, or gift cards). It’s my way of showing how much I appreciate your time and thoughts.

Thanks a lot for reading — and honestly, any advice (big or small) means the world to me right now. 🙏

Hey, I do like the concept. I'm not a marketer myself but do need it for my project. I've started with Postly a bit but I'm not sure how this overlaps. That's already one way to tickle my fancy.

Do you feel this solves a real problem?

Yes, but execution and trust will be key. After all if the AI messes up, it's your brand identity at stake.

Which feature feels most useful (or least)?

Sorry but as I outlined below I could not spend too much time reading the site due to motion sensitivity.

Any thoughts on positioning or niche audiences?

I suspect that small outfits that don't have big marketing budgets and have less brand risk are the best bets. So small medium & sized businesses.

I know of some ladies starting their fitness clothing business. The marketing is done by hand. If this gives them a way to automate creation and post with approval, it might be interesting.

Anything about usability or product direction you’d change?

Not sure but maybe this connects to the following comments:

    A few pointers:
Are you aware of speedo.com? If not it's good to know. Especially in the US there are plenty of jokes about it.

You might want to have a designer review of that site. The layout is ok but I could not stay on it too long also because of all the motion. Also, count the number of colours. I suspect you'll find that it's a bit much. If you're targeting business I believe you want something more focused.

I would find the trending topics and the competition analysis features to be the most desirable given being a website creator looking to bring in traffic by exploring the topics driving traffic. I certainly love the idea of the boring stuff being taken care of as well...

I like the concept and it has potential. I think the value proposition could be clearer as to what specific problem it solves. It sounds like it can create content, post and track campaigns which is broad and useful if it can do what creative AI tools like Veo3 do (or at least integrate these type of tools) as well as enable aggregrated perfomance analysis. However, I think the value might come from the fact that it automates a creative machine that enables fast testing and iteration of lots of different ad concepts and designs to find what works. If it has potential to do that and I have understood correctly, I think it could be marketed in that way? The reason I say this is that the cost of creating new content is dropping to zero with AI generative tools but the bar is being raised on what works too, so the need to be able to test and iterate quickly while assessing performance all in one place. Positioning it to solve this in one place would be effective
