🤔 Would you actually use an NFC Social Media Blocker? Need honest feedback!

Hey everyone!

I built an app that blocks social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) and the only way to unlock is by tapping an NFC card.

The idea:

You try to open Instagram → Blocked

Want access? → Must physically tap your NFC card

Get 1 minute of usage → Then blocked again

No bypassing, no "just 5 more minutes" - forces a real decision

My question for you:

Would this actually help you? Or just be annoying?

Is the physical NFC step too much hassle?

Do you think 1 minute is enough/too little?

Would you pay $2-3 for something like this?

I've been using it myself and it's surprisingly effective - that extra friction of finding my NFC card makes me think twice. But I'm curious if others would find it useful or just irritating.

Honest opinions wanted! Is this solving a real problem or just adding unnecessary complexity?

Thinking about putting it on Play Store but want to know if there's actual demand first.

What do you think? 🤷‍♂
