Would you actually use this for your business?

I’m a solo developer building a small tool around customer testimonials.

I’ve been working on it for a while and I’m at the point where I really want to know if this is actually useful for businesses or if I’m just solving a problem that doesn’t really exist 😅

If you run a business or work with customers, I’d love for you to take a quick look and tell me what you think.

Not looking for compliments - honest feedback is much more useful.

It’s free to try: https://provoon.com/

Honest, from a cold read of the page as it is today, not the version the earlier comment saw - you have clearly already moved AI ranking into the headline, so this is the next layer down.

The page is written for someone who already uses a testimonial tool. "Not just another wall", "most tools stop at collect and embed", "why switch", "collect and embed get you parity" - every one of those lines assumes the reader has a wall today and is weighing a migration. That is the hardest first customer there is, because switching costs them a weekend. The business you described in your other thread - a solo founder or a small shop that has never collected a testimonial - reads those same lines and learns nothing about whether this is for them. Pick one. If your first ten users are businesses with no tool, the headline should say what happens on day one ("send one link, customers leave a quote or a video, you approve, it shows on your site"), and the switching talk moves down to the compare page, where switchers go looking for it.

"Page job" appears three times on the first screen and it is your word, not the reader's. Nobody outside the product knows what a page job is. Same with "Brand Monitor" as a bare capitalised name. Say the plain thing once: "ranks which quotes fit your pricing page, your home page, your checkout".

The sample-content fix went one step too far. The page now says "illustrative sample", "placeholder brand names", "not real Provoon customers" and "sample stories for layout only" - four disclaimers on a page whose whole promise is proof. Honest, and it reads as "nobody uses this yet". One real story, even from your first free user, replaces all four; until you have it, cut the placeholder logo row entirely rather than labelling it.

Two mechanical things from a quick automated check: 22 external scripts load before the page settles, and 4 of 20 images have no width or height, so the first screen reflows while it loads - on a phone that is the headline jumping while someone is reading it. The check, if you want to re-run it after changes: https://squint.page/check/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fprovoon.com%2F

To your actual question: yes, the problem exists - your own compare page proves it. What the page does not yet answer is why a business with no testimonials today should start with you instead of a Google form and a screenshot. That answer is the page.

Since you asked for honest over polite: the problem clearly exists, your own compare page lists ten competitors (Testimonial.to, Vocal Video, Boast.io, etc.), so "is this a real need" isn't really the question. The harder question is why someone switches to you
    specifically.

The AI-ranking and Brand Monitor angle is the most differentiated thing on the page, most testimonial tools stop at "collect and embed." I'd lead harder with that in the hero instead of "Wall of Love," which several competitors also use as their core term.

One thing I'd stress-test: the demo testimonials on the page (Maya Chen, Jordan Blake, etc.) read as placeholder/generated rather than real customers. For a product whose entire value prop is "authentic social proof," a landing page without a single verifiably real testimonial is a credibility gap worth closing before anything else.

This is the kind of feedback I was hoping for. Really appreciate you taking the time to dig into it.

And yeah, you're right - the real question is why someone would choose Provoon over the existing tools.

Also fair point on the demo testimonials 😅. Definitely something I need to fix.

      Thanks again!
