Would you buy this? Am I crazy?
I want an "alibi" wristband--basically something to wear that records me at all times and offloads the audio to cloud storage daily. Maybe it records location data too.
This idea is NOT popular with my friends. It sounds paranoid and invasive. But, I still want it. It could defend me if I'm falsely accused of a crime, lawsuit, or workplace drama. It could serve as a witness against bad actors, such as aggressive cops or sexual harassers.
I have no idea who the target market is to interview for this, so I am posting for y'alls opinion.
Does anyone else want this? If so, maybe its my next project. Or...am I just crazy.
I can imagine some (not big) % of people using it.
Hmm if I was to wear something that records me all day, I would definitely want it to have an offline mode in which all the recordings are kept locally stored instead of going to someone's server that can track me and spy on me. You could then have a way to move the data from the device to another storage that you consider safe.
It should also transmit as little as possible (option to disable bluetooth, etc.) for the people that dont want any extra electromagnetic waves on their bodies.

Thanks for the reply! These are good thoughts.
The only one I know about is consent--it differs by state. Allowable in most states.
