Would you pay for AI features if it meant giving up some privacy?

I’m working on a browser extension focused on security and privacy and I’ve been stuck thinking about this:

To offer smarter protection, AI features would need to process some user behavior — domains visited, patterns of interaction, maybe even form content. This would happen locally or via secure backend APIs.

But I know a lot of people don’t want to share any extra data, even for smarter results.

So I’d love your thoughts:

Which would you prefer — and pay for?

An AI-enhanced tool with more accurate protection, but with limited user data collected (anonymized or not stored long-term)

A simpler, non-AI tool that respects maximum privacy, collects minimal data, but has less “smart” behavior detection

Would love to hear how you all think about the tradeoff between privacy and precision — especially when the data might never be sold or shared, but just used for better results.
