I’m thinking about building a tool where I can track each change I make to my app or pricing. It would track which stripe customers are effected by the change (would integrate with stripe) and automatically group users into cohorts so I can see how behaviour/LTV is effected by the changes I’ve made.
Maybe it also lets you group people by different marketing efforts (e.g. how much longer to users who came from Product Hunt stay versus direct, etc.).
According to The Mom Test (which is a fantastic read/listen) it’s not helpful to ask “Would you pay for this” but I figure y’all will be honest in here :)
@joshanderton This is interesting because I do believe in pricing A/B testing. I currently store the source/medium of the users to track the LTVs from ProductHunt users vs say SEO referral users.
Hey! Thanks for the comment.
That’s a great idea. How often do you check on the results?
I basically have the most simplest Admin panel built for myself. This is where I check once in a week.
Sorry, i check the admin panel once a week but i check the source/medium perhaps once a month.
I check the source/medium section after an anticipated launch.
In my past life as a salaried person, we check all this on Amplitude for like twice a month at the most.
Awesome. Thanks, this is good to know! :)
