Hey IH community!
I recently got in the mentoring / consulting space and was brainstorming some ideas. There are times when I am like "how can I do this in react" and there is not a googlable solution because my thing is too specific.
I was thinking that I would probably pay to get my answer from an individual if it was quick enough. Maybe I would jump in a call for 15 minutes with someone for $xx to have my thing solved.
I don't exactly know how you would classify this service, perhaps on-demand micro mentoring? Anyway let me know what you think of this project, would you use something like this?
Thanking everyone in advance!
definitely something worth using at least once. If it were a fruitful experience, could be something I return to for sure.
classification: knowledge as a service
Yes, I would definitely pay to get answers. By no means am I an advanced enough programmer in al the latest technologies. I learned to program more then 20 years ago and can hack my projects together.
But a lot of times I am stuck on a problem and need to search for an answer. If I can get a quick answer to a programming question I would happily pay $25 for a 10 minute call so I could move on faster.
As suggested but you might want to consider the informal sites like GitHub and Reddit.
so like Clarity.FM or Quora Premium?
Yeah it should be like Clarity.FM but build upon it. Maybe focus on less professional subjects or a more casual / faster interaction.
Btw thanks for posting these I didn't find them on my market research!
