Would you rather solve existing problems or create new markets/products?

I can not tell you how much I agree with this post .

There are so many post here that talk about drilling down into a niche..or creating a landing page to gauge how users feel about a product....or talk about just getting 1,000 subscribers who pay 5.00 per month for an SaaS service .

Yet they seem to forget the prime directive of creating an Invention

Originality

As someone who has been creating & designing new products and inventions since the 1980's... So many miss this imperative .

Where are the trailblazers ?

When I read between the lines..what they are really saying is...
Don't take risks..play it safe...do what every one else is doing...but build a better mouse trap .

While I have built several mouse traps & worked on building projects that are based on creating new features on existing products …

I have learned to work on 2 tracks....existing products & original never seen before creations .
