Would You Sell Your Old Writing?

Came across the concept of PLR Products today.

It is content, that is sold to be sold.

PLR stands for Private Label Resale. Meaning that you buy an ebook about business for the explicit use to resell it as your own.

I found out about this cottage industry from reading what products are not sellable on Gumroad.

And looking through these sites, they all sound scummy. I don't really mean scammy here. I mean, they look "low rent". Very poor language but very salesy language. Lots of get rich quick verbiage.

But then it got me thinking

Could Indiehackers sell content they aren't monetizing directly, or aren't using.

Consider we write a lot. Ideas, documentation, answers on forums, emails, etc.

Much of that writing you won't directly sell, nor would you want to.

But some percent is worth something. Would you if you could?

I know people scrape tweets and put them in an airtable and try to sell them. I've had it done to me. I sell a hundred twitter templates that I actually did get from twitter but cut out what I think was personality.
