Would you try this service? (social fitness platform)

A two sided market place for fitness and nutrition coaching. I'm starting with a single fitness coach (me), offering free fitness coaching to bootstrap the buyer/client side

Having your entire website content shown as a very narrow area of text on top of a fixed background photo is a bad idea. It just makes reading anything very difficult. You should consider changing the layout into using the existing photo as a hero photo, put your best pitch over it and then the rest of the content is under it, where user needs to scroll.

I think personal training experience is very, well, personal. Yet, this website doesn't showcase or tell anything about the actual personal trainers.

Thanks so much for this. Will certainly consider.

    Hello IH,
Would love some feedback on my landing page.
I'm a developer and an aspiring indie hacker. I am also a certified Personal Fitness Trainer. I'm looking to help people who have struggled to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle (exercise and nutrition), and are looking for a sustainable way to do so.

I'm building what I ultimately hope to become a two-sided marketplace. One side of the platform (seller side) would consist of fitness and nutrition coaches. The other side (buyer side) would be users looking to be coached towards meeting and sustaining a fitness or health goal. Users join "fitness groups" on the platform and these groups would be managed and coached by fitness and nutrition coaches.

    My proposed business model:

    • Membership to any group would be free, but extended and personalized 1:1 coaching would require a monthly subscription (payed to the coach with a percentage to the platform).
    • As part of the free group membership, users get access to daily exercise routines and fitness challenges (created by the coach), broad (not personalized) fitness and nutrition coaching and interaction with other members of the group (usually helps with motivation and accountability).
    • To start, I'm focusing on building the user/buyer side of the platform by offering free 1:1 fitness and nutrition coaching.

As a potential user looking for a way to achieve sustainable weight loss (or any other health/fitness goal), would you try this service?
