Would you use a service to help you better manage your custom fonts for your projects

I've been working on an open source side project and the main function of it is to allow users to use their own custom fonts on their projects through URL's like google fonts does. There is also the added functionality of mixing fonts so you could use different fonts from a single URL.
I just realized that i never really validated this idea. Is this something you would find useful?
