Would you use email sniper links to improve signup confirmations?

I'm thinking of bringing email sniper links to the masses.

What's an email sniper link, you ask?
Growth.Design has a great explanation https://growth.design/gems/sniper-link

tl;dr It's a link that takes your newly signed up user directly to your confirmation email in their mail client.

Right now I now this works with Yahoo and Gmail clients. I'm sure there are others and the service would expand into those.

You would signup for the service providing your reply-to email address. When a user signs up, you send the email to our API and we return a sniper link for the user's email client of choice.

Pricing would be based on number of API calls per month.

Would you use a service like this to get a boost in email confirmation clicks?

Thanks for the share! I did not know this existed, although I currently do not have a project where this could come in handy I would most definitely use this whenever I do.

Could it also be used in email confirmation emails, for example signing up a new account on IH? If so, and you can make it real easy to implement, I think you have a good business case here.

Good luck! Could you also feedback my idea? Thanks! https://www.indiehackers.com/post/validation-a-wireless-time-machine-backup-saas-3e3555e130
