can you make it reactive? is there a vote count? Can the items slide up and down as I vote?

As some people have written, this design seems a bit dated.
Also, I'd like something a bit more complex - not just plain text with an upvote, but maybe something like a card - a snapshot, a title, a description. Something with a bit more oomph.

My suggestion is to add filtering and sorting features, as there might be ideas from different types and people might want to upvote an idea with a low number of upvotes or the opposite or by alphabetic order. In addition, a downvote feature might come in hand as you would like to know if people don't want that feature.

Maybe work a little bit more on your design and UX.
And add real idea for your demo page:
Do not: Idea #1 , Idea #2, Idea #3...
Do: Review UI, Embed website settings, Built a landing page...
This way, the user will be able to project himself better and at the same time help you with your own tool to build a great product.
