I'm working on a 3rd party embeddable comment plugin (think Facebook Comments, Disqus, SpotIM, .. etc) based on LinkedIn.
The funnel may consist 3 WOW!s and 2 Ouch!s.
I’m a logistics consultant who selling my services and products on my web. My typical customers are the planners or managers of small logistical enterprises. They are professional and LinkedIn users.
By adding a single line of code once, my customers can leave the comment with their LinkedIn account immediately. LinkedIn users are more credible than other social networks. I can know more about them through their job title and a link to their LinkedIn profiles. I can have a community of professional users with high quality comments right on my website.
By commenting, they can share our products/services to LinkedIn immediately, generating more traffic to my website and then possibly sales!
The first problem is I cannot code, even though it is just a single line of code and need to do it for only once. I don’t know how to embed this LinkedIn Comments Widget on my website even after reading the step-by-step guide of adding this widget to Tumblr or Wordpress.
I can embed the widget for you! Just give me a one-time access to your Content Management System (CMS). Once it’s ready, you can turn-off my access immediately. I will not do anything else without your permission.
If I don’t produce high quality logistics related contents, I cannot attract customers to visit my website, let alone leaving comments and sharing to LinkedIn! However, I cannot run from this, content is the long term way to establish brand and communicate with customers. Else, some competitors will do it for me and take my shares.
I can help you to create contents that resonate with your readers. If you’re in very high technical industry, I can link you to some researchers and content writers.
Besides that, we will work together to drive professionals to read, comment and share your website through many growth hacking tactics. It will take time but the best time to start is Now!
Any thoughts?
PS: The funnel was based on Growth Hacking: Creating a Wow Moment by David Skok which I had posted here. The Persona Analysis was based on many enterprise sales books or articles I read before. I simply combined these two idea together :-P
