Woz looking for his Jobs - two MVPs

Hi all,

I have built two rather different projects in the past year that are both at an MVP stage:

Fastmap is a distributed computing framework meant for data scientists, academic researchers, and small-midsized tech companies. It is similar to - but vastly simpler than - Spark, Hadoop, or Ray (take a look at Ray in particular. It's gotten very popular, does the same thing, but is utterly complicated).

FFER is a comprehensive stock valuation ratio powered by machine learning. So think 'P/E' but with 16 fundamental dimensions. The market here is retail investors. This is certainly a "greenfield" project where there has been very little innovation so it's hard to say whether the market will support a new concept like this. For what it's worth though, the P/E is over 100 years old and is still the most commonly cited valuation ratio.

Both have had really promising signals. Here is the problem though - while I'm personable (former engineering manager), I'm not the sort of person who is constantly on social media. Self-promotion, sales, and marketing don't come naturally to me.

I recognize that partnering at this stage is often fraught so I think I should emphasize, as much time as I've put in already, I'm not locked to the ideas as-is. I recognize that pivoting is an essential part of an early-stage startup. Perhaps one of these ideas is already ready to go, perhaps they need several pivots, perhaps we find that there was no market for either.
