Writing a book to promote your business
Greetings all,
I've read alot that writing a book (a good one for sure :)) is a good way to position yourself in your field as an expert. And can be a good marketing tool. I'm thinking of writing a book named "SCADA vs IIoT" .. it wil be a technical book around 200 pages. And will self publish it to Amazon. I will put a link in company's website and print copies for marketing.
I appreciate your thoughs about the whole thing. And please share your experience if you ever wrote a book for that purpose.
That's certainly a tactic that can work. I'd recommend writing some blog posts about the topic first and later leverage the content you've created into a book if people are finding it useful. You'd likely save a lot of time and effort.
