Writing a Business Plan as a Developer
Hey everyone!
I was wondering if there are any great tools or software that can help me write a solid business plan that I can use to start sending to investors, potential partners, etc.
Additionally, I am unsure of the necessary steps that I need to take in order to build a company, aside from building the product (e.g. marketing, fundraising, etc.), and I can't seem to find any good resources on this.
Please recommend me some good tools / services / apps that can help me and my team!

I have not used this personally but I was attending a session from Bret J. Fox where he mentioned this tool.
I've been thinking about subscribing to liveplan too, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price. At least the have a refund policy ...

Do you recommend using such a tool tho? As an engineer myself I found it very difficult to write a quality business plan. I've tried the software you recommended but they don't provide any guidance about 'HOW I can do the specific parts such as financial plan, marketing strategy and so on..
I might not be 100% right here but isn't pitch decks are kind of replacing business plans. Ideally pitch deck is shorter version

My strategy right now is I am studying existing pitch deck for successful companies and trying to come up with mine based on them.
