Writing a code-heavy book? I'll help you edit for free... but there's a catch

Earlier this year, I (self) published my first book on Gumroad and was fortunate enough to have a (little) bit of success.

In addition to publishing my book, I've built a successful Ruby on Rails-focused blog and have a decade of experience writing code and words in my day job.

If you are writing a code-heavy book (think tutorial-style books on software development) and are planning to self-publish on Gumroad, I would love to help. I will read and give you feedback on your draft, or answer questions you have about the writing/editing/publishing process to help you get your book to the finish line.

What's the catch?

In the process of writing my book, I built an app to publish my book online because I found the experience of reading and working with lots of code in a PDF (or on a Kindle, oof) to be poor and I wanted to provide a better experience for my readers.

After publishing the book, I found that people really enjoyed reading the book through the web app, and I got requests to turn the publishing app into a standalone product and now I have the beta version (almost) ready for real users.

In return for helping you with your book, I'd love to share a bit about what I'm building and get your thoughts on how it could be improved. No expectations of you using the product, just chatting about the problem I'm solving and hearing your reaction.
