Writing a skimmable newsletter about SaaS stuff

I'm looking to grow signups on saasbase.dev, so this month I'm going to be writing a Dru Riley's trends.vc styled newsletter around SaaS topics - Payments, Auth etc.

Basically researching everything from tools, best practices, opportunities and putting it in a skimmable post for Indie Founders.

Has anyone written a successful newsletter? Thoughts/Ideas?

Thanks for the shoutout. Here is the newsletter Micro SaaS Ideas with 7K subscribers and growing. We are launching a private community too for Micro SaaS builders.

        Sweet suggestion @alexred

This is AWESOME @upenv! I'll definitely have to reference the work you're doing with Micro SaaS Ideas since many of the topics will overlap.

Do you have some time for a coffee chat @upenv?

Upen, was that you selling a SaaS ideas newsletter on Microacquire the other week? If so, why did you do that, given the newsletter is growing nicely? And did you get much interest? Enjoyed today's edition by the way 👍

I did think it was odd given you were re-launching on PH the same day 😄it was a microSaaS newsletter, sounded a lot like yours. Maybe they didn't feel they could compete with you! By the way, I just posted my first newsletter - Podcast insights for entrepreneurs - inspired by you and a few others.

That HN article is a good line.

This is exactly what I want to go for: practice making emails short. Write, then rewrite to 50% of original length, then try to make it even shorter.
