Writing billing/ authentication code kinda sucks

Writing billing and authtication code is something most indie hacker projects need. Though it's kinda a boring chore.

Personally, I wish I could avoid dealing with it at the early stage of building. Sure, there are other services like OAUTH, Auth0 or Memberful but it still requires a bunch of code. I want something where I don't lift a finger (I'm lazy in a good way)

So I came up with a way to do it with nearly zero code: by implementing it as an HTTP proxy.

The HTTP proxy handles auth URLs like /login, /signup and does all the Stripe billing integration.

All other URLs are passed along to your app with an extra header x-user-id

I'm curious to get your feedback if you think this is something you'd use? I'd probably continue building it anyways, since it's something I need, but feedback would be helpful.
