long way to go until this feels like a habit and just another part of my day. i'm thankful for places like IH, twitter and LinkedIn where I can publicly be held accountable... not even necessarily by the people in each respective community but just by the system itself.
I'm particularly struggling, with my client business, from context switching. At any time, I'm juggling half a dozen codebases. So this part of your post hits home:
"the constant context switching taking away from the time required to learn each product and the code."
Flip-flopping from one code base to another all of the time is stressful. I'm sure your developers will continue to find singular focus a much easier way to work.
