My tool for giving feedback on live iOS apps is live!!!!
It took us almost 6 months to go from first alpha to a stable beta of Flawless Feedback 👉

☃️ And the story of this product started way back in winter 2019. We were running users interviews with designers, developers, and QAs. What caught my attention is that many people were talking us exactly the same thing:

• "app looks cool on design but [something is wrong] with the coded app."
• "giving feedback on live apps is hard, it's a mess of screenshots, Slack messages, videos, emails..."
• "feedback got lost and never implemented" ☠️

🧠 Well, I and my co-founder saw a way to improve it!
So we made clickable prototypes, shared it with 20+ designers (if one of them are reading it now, please know — we love you!). In 2 weeks we changed 5 or 6 design prototypes, improving it ♻️ ♻️ ♻️

Then we showed the final prototype to the engineering team. And started delivering it every week! So basically, we released some small feature week by week.

After 3 months of development, we had a working alpha. Gave it to people. Users reported us 100+ feature requests and improvements!!!! 😂 MVPs are hard! and we were overoptimistic about the first release, but at least it worked...

Then we invested more 6 months to polish our feedback app. Now the app is much better and with Flawless Feedback, people can:

• Mirror iOS app to Mac via lightning cable or Screen Mirroring.
• Comment mirrored app right from Mac, fast and simple.
• Annotate high-resolution screenshots of app screens. Just by click on needed screen from iPhone -> then comment screenshot on your Mac.
• Record a gif of flows and animations, then comment gif on Mac.
• Group feedback into projects. So if people have several apps, screenshots and gifs with comments will be well-organized.
• Share all valuable feedback screen-by-screen or as a whole project.
• Invite team members to leave visual feedback on live iOS apps together.

And so many things to build next!

Now we have beta release and I'm very optimistic about what will happen next 🥰
