YC dismissed it as bullshit, founders are proving them wrong

A small team behind HiveMind finally launched on Product Hunt (after 2 years of bootstrapping and eating glass 😅).

If you’ve ever opened a job post and gotten 500+ resumes in a day, you know the nightmare. Most ATS tools feel like glorified spreadsheets, they sit there dead until you do all the work.

They wanted something smarter. So they built HiveMind. Think of it like an AI-powered recruiting co-pilot that:

  • Screens resumes and scores candidates automatically
  • Sends out skill + personality assessments (we’ve got 1,200 roles preloaded)
  • Follows up with applicants
  • Schedules interviews straight to your calendar
  • Even co-pilots your Zoom calls and phone screens (takes notes for you)

Basically: you drop in a stack of applicants, come back later, and you’ve got a ranked shortlist of vetted candidates.

They've been dogfooding this at RocketDevs (staffing company) and it literally replaced the duct-taped mess of 8 different hiring tools they were juggling.

For the PH launch, they are running a lifetime license deal (yeah, no subscription). Ends tonight at midnight PST. After that it’s back to regular pricing.

What’s the worst part of your current hiring flow?

dogfooding is the best way to launch painkiller ideas.

This looks like a real game-changer. Most ATS tools really do feel like spreadsheets with extra steps, so having an actual AI co-pilot for hiring sounds refreshing. The Zoom call notes feature alone is worth it—I’ll definitely check HiveMind out.

Congrats on shipping this 👏 I’ve been working on early-stage prototypes myself (different space: compliance + founder visibility), and totally relate to that ‘duct-taped mess of tools’ problem. Great to see a focused, all-in-one solution.

Looks strong, also the worst pain is triaging and scheduling, so you could add role scorecards with knockout questions, and bulk interview scheduling ;)
