Healthcare in US is notorious for having opaque medical expenses involving multiple parties and resulting in jaw dropping prices for trivial procedures.

The solution? Arm patients with easy to access historical information of procedures at each hospital with user submitted price information, ratings etc. Integration with insurance provider to personalize patient decision making on which hospitals are within network and which ones aren't, expected out of pocket expenses etc.

A new law that the US Govt. has passed also mandates hospitals to release information regarding costs for procedures, which is another potential point of integration to improve the pricing dataset.

Long term, this could be the single source of healthcare decision making.
