#yenizens Daily Stand-Up (Week 3/16 -3/22)

This has been an intense week! I have a feeling we all know, or can guess, why so I'll skip that part. Just mentioning it as it's the reason I'm a "little" behind on posting this week's daily stand-up post. :) Let me review my notes...

M- I post something to my blog every Monday. This Monday's post turned into a rant of sorts based off of a conversation I had with one of my community members. Huh... as I type this now and reflect on what a "community member" means to me I'm realizing the boundary is outside of just the digital community I have going on. Members participate and interact in a myriad of ways. I do need to formalize their membership though! :)

Tu - I had a long conversation with my brother (global events) and got a lot of writing done to put towards my "manifesto". I'm working on creating a document which can serve as the "Cliff's Notes" of the community I'm building and the philosophy behind it. I'm throwing a lot of words on Gdocs and pen and paper this week. There will be much editing to do!

W - Had a long conversation with members of the #yeniverse and decided to start doing a daily vlog about... "current events" (I've been somewhat obsessed with them... lol)

Th (Today!) - Long conversation with another community member which led to me deciding to create a FB group where people can discuss the events of the day (there are so many so fast!) Got a lot of writing done today as well.

Note: I haven't gotten done what I've wanted to get done this week! BUT I'm still pleased with what I have gotten done considering the rapidly changing environment! :P

Nice work! I wouldn't stress about not getting as much done this week. The world is pretty hectic right now, and I think we all need to give ourselves some slack.

Keep up the great work, love seeing these progress reports. I think I may start doing one as well!

The idea is to post a single thread at the start of the week and then all #yenizens can check in in the same thread. That way we can all keep track of what each other is up to. No need to post daily. Could also be in the form of sharing an update posted somewhere else. :)

Where do you plan to post your vlog? Or does it already exist?

Here's the latest one. I need to clean up my YouTube channel... it's kind of a mess. lol It probably needs a new intro video. I'll be posting them there. :)

Fr - Launched the COVID-19 Facebook group today with a single update on FB and 18 people manually joined (I sent no invites). It even sparked the creation of a second group by my wife when she discovered that no one but admins could create new posted (she was very annoyed. lol) Now there is two groups. One curated by me and another which is open to anyone to post.

I'm actually modeling the group after my accountability group and when applications are open for the next cycle starting in May I'll be able to share it inside of this group. I think a lot of people will be good candidates and I'm sure I'll be able to do a lot of customer interviews through the group.
