Hey there, been a while since I've done one of these, so let's see.

    • (Design detail, but your owl logo looks a bit out of proportion and should probably be a bit smaller)

    • "Affordable backlinks monitor & management" Probably want backlinks monitoring & management, or "The affordable way to monitor & manage backlinks"

    • "Say goodbye to spreadsheets" That headline is a bit too generic. About 95% of B2B software products are built to replace some form of spreadsheet. But that doesn't tell you what the product does concretely. Here, you've got a pre-headline that introduces backlinks management, but people will still read the big headline first, so it needs to be clearer.

    • "SEOwl is a backlink management platform that turns your backlinks into actionable insights to enhance your SEO strategy and achieve better rankings. 🚀" Okay, so if I had to extract the part of this that tells me about what value I'm getting, it would be "Achieve better rankings." Since it's an SEO product and the whole point of SEO is ranking, that makes sense, but you probably want to be more precise than that. What kind of actionable insights? How does it improve my rankings concretely? That's more convincing than talking about "actionable insights" (which ones?).

    • "For both freelancers and agency teams alike, the use of SEOwl empowers higher thought and encourages action to grow your business." That doesn't tell me anything. Be careful with that kind of business-cliché-ridden language. Focus on the user. What do they want? How do you give it to them? Why should they pick you?

    • "Leverage SEOwl to prioritize effort and impact of your backlinks— thereby increasing leads and sales while lowering backlinks acquisition costs." Okay, that part sounds pretty interesting. But how am I going to lower my acquisition cost? That's what you need to explain/prove.

    • "No more spreadsheets" "Save time" "Do more" These are okay, but they're again, kinda generic. Speak more about the unique benefits of your product.

    • "Why SEOwl ?" At this point on the landing page, I should have a good idea why I would use your product, and you should delve more into the unique features that deliver the value. Here you're using a lot of space (and thus your reader's time) to repeat the same points.

    • "A good part of every SEO budget is in buying links. You don't want them to die or turn no-follow behind your back, one month after purchasing them." To me this sounds like the core of your product. You should keep things as simple as possible, and focus on that message. "If one of your precious backlinks breaks and your traffic falls from under you, you'll know exactly what happened" and so on.

    • You're probably going to need social proof for the next iteration. Make sure you collect some from beta users!

Overall the landing page is pretty nice, but you need to focus more on the unique benefits and features of your product. Right now, I don't know why I would pick SEOwl over something like ahrefs/SEMrush.

SEO professionals probably don't care as much about affordability (even the "expensive" plans for e.g. ahrefs aren't that big an expense for an agency), so you have to pay attention to what their needs really are. If you're offering something none of the big players are selling, focus on that and only that.

    Hope that helps. :)

Let me know if you need help with updates!

      Hi David !

I really appreciate the time you took to take a look at my landing page and to write that comment, it's very valuable.

I agree with most of what you've said - it makes total sense.

On my way to implement those and I'll update here once done !

      Thanks again

    Nice work
If you can make scroll it section by section i think it will be easy to users.

    @davidoudiette smashed it

    Some other tips:

    • Get the app onto a subdomain like app.seowl.co
    • Don't need home/features on navbar
    • Change log in to Login
    • I would just have 1 website for free, 1 paying customer feedback > 100 free users
    • Site seems to be made for experts, I know a bit about SEO and i'm confused on how to use it. I want to get backlinks for a site of mine and thought this might help. But I don't understand it.

    Some quick questions:

    • Did you use a template?
    • Did you look at landing page builders?
    • If so why didn't you use one?
    • What problems did you have making a landing page?

Thanks for the comment I'll try to think of all that !

      For your questions :

      • no
      • no
      • I like messing around with CSS, and I know how to do it so I can do whatever I want
      • well, it takes time ! But I like it and that's on me (see ques. #3) so ;)

edit : I've updated my landing page to include some of your suggestions, thanks !
