Last month I posted PlanMoon here and asked people to break it (original post). @arowe87 broke it in one line: it told a card-game site to "write about card game strategy." True. Also useless. No angle, no format, nothing you could act on.
I fixed three things:
Competitor discovery — it now looks at who's actually ranking (Google + AI search) and builds each suggestion around the gap they're leaving, instead of guessing from the keyword.
A "why" report — every plan now comes with a written breakdown of why these topics, for your business, right now — naming the real competitors and the openings they're missing. No more black box.
Local + small business — location-based businesses used to get generic advice with a city name pasted on. Now it separates who ranks locally vs. nationally, so small players get a plan they can actually win with.
Same site, same keyword:
Before: "Free browser party card games online for instant group play"
After: "Play a Free Party Card Game Online With No Download or Signup" — because no-download/no-signup is the exact thing Party Hosts search for and the top competitors don't lead with.
Drop your URL in the comments and I'll reply with the top content suggestion it finds. Want the full report? Email me at saied.alimoradi@gmail.com or DM me on LinkedIn, and I'll send it over.
This is a huge upgrade from the first version. The “why” report and competitor‑gap angle are exactly what most keyword tools miss, and the no‑download/no‑signup example makes the value super concrete.
Great job!
The biggest improvement isn't that the recommendations got more specific.
It's that you stopped treating content as a keyword problem and started treating it as a competitive positioning problem. Once the recommendation explains why this angle exists, it becomes something a founder can actually make decisions with instead of just another topic list.
This sounds phenomenal! Already sent you an email. I suggest Planmoon to all businesses. You have to use it to realize how life-changing this tool is.
