You can again use Google Analytics

If you shunned using Google Analytics because of GDPR/compliance, then bravo to you. Few did. But if you missed it, there is good news. You can continue using Google Analytics (well GA4) as, currently, it is again compliant for most part.

But hold on, Jarek. Aren't you a founder of a web analytics platform? Isn't Wide Angle Analytics worse of because of that change?

Not really. And here is why.

When you are using Google Analytics, you need to ask for consent. (see linked article for details)

With Wide Angle Analytics you don't have to ask as there is no international data transfer, not data reselling nor sharing. Please check your basis for legitimate interest.

Analytics collected with WAA is just so much more accurate because you capture all the traffic, not just those who clicked “Accept All”.

So what will, and is already happening, those who love GA4 will run Google Analytics with WAA (or other analytics) to make sure to get full coverage of traffic and attribution.

At the same time, there are voices of fatigue.
