You can have millions of followers and still own nothing

You can have millions of followers and still own nothing.

That is the problem we are trying to solve with LetterBucket.

Creators spend years building an audience on social platforms. They post consistently, grow their following, and sometimes reach hundreds of thousands or even millions of people.

But then the rules change.

The algorithm stops showing their content. Organic reach drops. A platform pushes a new format. An account can be restricted, copied, hacked, or simply lose visibility because someone else controls the distribution.

The painful part is that the creator did the hard work, but the platform owns the relationship.

A newsletter changes that.

When someone subscribes to your newsletter, that email belongs to you as the creator. It is your audience. You can export it, move it, contact it, and keep building that relationship over time.

That is the kind of ownership creators need.

LetterBucket exists to help creators turn borrowed attention into an owned audience through newsletters.

Not just more followers. Real ownership.

One thing I'd be careful with:

A platform controlling distribution can sometimes look like the thing creators are trying to escape.

I'm not sure that's always the dependency they're most exposed to.

Those can point toward very different definitions of ownership.

That's the part I'd be most curious about.
