"Success does not consist in never making mistakes but in never making the same one a second time."
George Bernard Shaw
It's okay to make mistakes! This is an essential part of everyone's life. Here is a plan for what to do if you make a mistake:
Own your mistake. Take a deep breath and acknowledge the mistake.
Analyze your mistake. You need to honestly and objectively analyze your mistake. Ask yourself the following questions:
What was I trying to do?
What went wrong?
When did it go wrong?
Why did it go wrong?
3. Consider what you can learn from the error.
Put the lessons learned into practice.
Review your progress. And always remember to thank yourself for the results.
Keep in mind that everyone makes mistakes. Life has a way of teaching us things, and they might be difficult to learn. It is up to you, though, whether or not you learn from your mistakes.
