I just watched the 8 startup myths video from Rob Walling. One of the myths he talks about is this one:
Myth: Build an audience first. Then ask what they want.
I wanted to share the video, since this myth is extremely prevalent on social media. IMO it is very harmful for builders that want to build a SaaS. Not only is it unnecessary. It also leads many IHs towards building in the same niche (e.g., Twitter growth / screenshot / whatever tools)
What is your opinion on this?
Hi Malte,
first congratulations to your success with your worksheet tool.
How did you approach the growth of your tool. I just read your post A simple and efficient way to find your first users, but am really interested to learn how you scaled from there.
BTW, I am back to IH since months and have no idea how it works now... This used to be a forum!
Thanks,
Andreas
