On your way, no matter how many fans you actually succeed in gaining, you’ll be surrounded not by faddish infatuation, but by genuine and true appreciation. It’s a much saner destiny to hope for. And you are much more likely to actually arrive there.

I absolutely agree with you.
I've tried to say this so many times. What's sad is that 99% of the people simply won't or can't find a logic in these words.

Yes, I think so, too.
When we start building our community of early adopters and fans, we had this milestone of 100 members to be reached at first. Now, I guess we will improve and re-iterate on our community building strategy based on that article's insights.
