Suppose you have an average audience of 15K (platform doesn't matter).
Usually, 5-10% of them engage with your content.
One random day you posted something and only 0.01% engaged and there is nothing different in format or anything. After some days it back to normal. Then again random days same happens engagement drops to soo low that you started blaming why "I posted today".
Is it happen to every content creator?
There is no way I could know the reason. But how do overcome the frustration and anxiety?
I solution I used for me is, I lower my expectations to 0.01%. but there are some cases where it drops to even 0.001%.
Is there any good measure to control my mind and keep pushing without getting affected?
One method that works for me is to not expect anything from it.
You only have so much control, and sometimes, for whatever reasons, content may not perform as well as normal.
That doesn't mean I don't care about results, I definitely do, but as long as overall engagement is trending upward its alright for me. If engagement has been trending down over a period of time, then it may be time to reevaluate the content.
This might not work for everybody, but thinking like this has greatly improved my day-to-day mental health/quality of life.
I tried my best to stop looking at insights now.. The best option could be to schedule everything and forget. But is not possible for Instagram you have to be available on the platform.
How do you measure the upward trend? by checking weekly metrics?
I don't use Instagram myself, so I'm definitely not the person to be giving you advice here.
However, here's an article that may help:

The second section seems like a good place to start.
Post it again later (if it's twitter)
