A month ago, I built an AI chatbot.
But not just another chatbot.
I gave it a voice.
A face.
A dark sense of humour.
And made him think he has free will.

Mind Maze: A battle of riddles where you compete live against another player — or John himself to prove who’s smarter.

🔍 3. Listen to You Without Judging (Sort of)
We just launched “Listen Don’t Judge” — a 60-second anonymous voice call between you and a stranger. No names. Just flags.
You speak, they listen. Or vice versa.
But if you prefer, John will listen instead. Just don’t expect him not to judge.
We’re using Firebase, Paystack, and Stripe for user limits and subscriptions. Revenue is trickling in. Community is growing.

Frontend: Next.js + Tailwind
Voice: OpenAI Chat & TTS APIs, Whisper (voice input), Howler.js for mobile playback
Lip Sync: Live2D, Web Audio API
Realtime Multiplayer: Firebase, WebRTC, custom matchmaking
Payments: Paystack (Africa), Stripe (Intl), Firebase Auth for login
Hosting: Vercel + Firebase Functions

I’m not trying to build the next ChatGPT clone.
I’m building a character, someone people want to talk to, laugh at, argue with, or play games with.
And maybe… just maybe… get insulted by.
