Your Advice to a Novice Indie Hacker from the Philippines 😁.
Hi, Mavy here! I'm currently developing my first SaaS and I want to kindly ask your advice about grasping the big picture because I feel like I can't wrap my head around everything I need to know before actually getting into the SaaS game.
I also do not know if I'm just constantly overwhelming myself with the required knowledge to start a digital business and as someone broke and unemployed from the Philippines, there are quite a few more adversities I'm experiencing.

Hello Kabayan. My advice, which I would have given to my younger self is keep pumping out projects because not all of them will work. I got stuck with one and still struggling to let it go. I parked that project for now and focusing on a service based business that has been doing well since the pandemic. However the problem with a service based business is I now have many bosses. All my clients are now my bosses. When you are employed you just have 1 boss. It's tiring at times. So I'm still looking to build that Saas business with predictable income. We're in the same boat. Hi @artur124, I really did not take a deep dive regarding the product validation - but there are already some platforms that succeeded with this idea, what differentiates mine is that it will be focused on small business owners looking for proper exposure from major social media websites. It's like the HootSuite for small business owners/startups. <3. It just worries me so much that some of the major components of a web app like "billing" don't support my country (E.g. Stripe).
I would recommend you validate the idea first. You can even go to your local businesses and discuss your thoughts with the business owners. See if you can find a few people who would use your service. Maybe you can handle a few clients by hand before building an app.
As for components I imagine there must be some alternatives. When I'm in China I use wechat and alipay pay a lot. If some essential components are missing, perhaps there is an opportunity in providing to other app developers.
Hello @Mavy. It's best to worry about one step at a time. How far along are you? Do you have a specific problem you are working on? Did you validate your idea with potential users?
