Your AI Should Already Know This Stuff

Look, I'm tired of explaining the same context to ChatGPT every single time. "I'm a founder. I have two kids. Tuesdays are packed. No, I can't do early morning calls."

It's 2025. My phone knows I'm about to order Thai food before I do. Spotify nails my music taste. But my AI assistant? It's like talking to someone with amnesia every single conversation.

Here's What Really Bugs Me

My calendar, emails, and Slack they're all screaming information about who I am and what I need. But every AI tool treats each interaction like we just met.

Yesterday, I asked Claude to help schedule a product launch. It suggested dates that conflicted with my kid's spring break (which has been on my calendar for months), double-booked me during our investor meeting, and completely ignored that I'm three time zones away from my co-founder.

I had to explain all of this. Again.

So We're Building Something Different

We're working on Fabrik basically, context intelligence for AI apps.

The idea: your AI should understand your patterns without you spelling everything out. It should know you're cranky before lunch. That you never take calls on Fridays. That when your boss emails at 11 PM, it's not actually urgent (most of the time).

Not by scraping everything creepily, but by actually understanding the signals that matter.

Why This Matters for Builders

If you're building AI products, you know this pain. Users bounce because your AI feels dumb not because your model is weak, but because it lacks context about who they are.

We're building Fabrik to fix that. Give any app instant user awareness without forcing users to fill out another damn questionnaire.

Still early, still figuring it out. But if you've felt this frustration too either as a user or a builder I'd love to hear your thoughts.

What context does your AI keep missing?

  1. 1

Focus on making AI proactive, not just reactive. Build a context layer that aggregates scattered user data while keeping privacy and security airtight. Solve hard infrastructure problems like integrations, data parsing, and secure storage so developers can focus on product features. Use zero-knowledge encryption and ephemeral processing to give personalization without creating liability. The key is to combine awareness, memory, and structured context so AI can anticipate needs and act like a true assistant while keeping user trust and compliance intact.
