Your backend doesn't tell a story

I made a mistake. I spent the past year building a back end believing that my customer would be able to tell me the story. I am confident that building Infrastructure as a Service is NEARLY impossible to a niche field which is why I am pivoting to expand and target more technical users.

Over the past year I have been building a big data and real-time solution for transit agencies vehicle statistics. The solution backups and queries historical statistics and for the most part, it is a functional back end.

The idea was to get the server to work with Geospatial services like ArcGIS Online. That way there was a no code interface the client could build on top of.

The problem isn't that there isn't a working product, it's not that there aren't people who wouldn't be interested. It's that the client doesn't have the vision and not selling a front end is like selling inspiration on top of the actual product.

That being said I am pivoting to use my work to reach a bigger market focused more on technical clients. I am still putting together the next couple of months, but making this available to a larger audience is my goal.
