Early this week, I silently launched my project Hashtag Rocks and I started working on polishing it and configured basic SEO. Today, as this is in decent shape to showoff I am ecstatic to announce my first gig , #️🤘
The idea is simple, you can use the platform to grow your audience on Instagram, for now at-least. Being a cockroach in this market, I would like to focus on Instagram and right now testing the waters to see if there's enough interest.
The Concept / Product is still developing but -- I vouched myself not to start any coding before I get atleast 50 signups, and even before launching, I already got 5 signups 🤩 only 45 more to go to make it a reality.
Yes, I know there are a lot of players in the market already, but my focus is not to compete with them, instead find my own niche. A focus area I am concentrating on building this 'smart hashtags' that could help grow your audience, especially at the beginning.
Hope it goes well, wish me well!
Do you like it? Want to support me? then signup or tell this someone who is a regular in Instagram.

When it comes to growing your Instagram audience with hashtags, the key is not only what you choose but also how you implement them within your overall content strategy.
From my experience, it helps to think of hashtags as part of a broader SEO approach. I used to rely heavily on generic hashtags, but I've found that a more strategic selection based on niche relevance and performance metrics can deliver better results.
Here are a few practical steps I've taken that really made a difference:
Research: Spend time analyzing competitors or accounts within your niche that have a similar audience. Look at their posts and note which hashtags generate the most engagement.
Mix It Up: Don’t just stick to high-traffic hashtags; include mid-tier and niche ones that are specific to your content. This diversifies your reach and targets specific communities that might be more engaged with your posts.
Test and Iterate: Track engagement metrics for each post to see which hashtags perform the best over time. I use a simple spreadsheet to note the hashtags used and measure the likes, comments, and shares. Adjust your strategy based on this data.
Engagement Cycle: Hashtag strategy shouldn’t be a one-time job. Regularly revisit and update your hashtags based on trends in your niche, seasonal topics, or shifts in audience interests. Experimenting every couple of weeks has led to noticeable growth for me.
Content Quality: Lastly, remember that while hashtags can help visibility, the quality of your content is crucial. I’ve seen more success in growing my audience by prioritizing authentic, high-quality posts that resonate with people and encourage shares.
Incorporating these approaches into my social media strategy has been a substantial part of my growth journey. It’s all about optimizing how you use the tools at your disposal to engage with your audience effectively.
Here is what I found:

Explain how they need to use your tool to automate a lot of this work, that's when you talk about the benefits of your solution, and you go through the journey of starting from nothing and possibly becoming an influencer getting paid!
@orliesaurus 🙏🏻 thank you for the detailed feedback. I watched your review and that was valuable feedback!
And thinking in terms of $$ makes absolute sense!
As the project is in very early stage, a concept really and developing as time progress.
Initially I thought it can be used for more one platform like Instagram and, twitter but, I narrowed it down to Insta. It makes totally sense to add this.
I will fix this and add more details
Yes, I am researching this at the moment, I am collecting more information.
Hopefully, when I have more data, I can prepare an exclusive whitepaper of sorts.
I already subscribed to your channel before posting this and I appreciate all the effort you put in.
Your main heading seemed too wordy to me. What about "Tired of no likes on your pictures?", Or even shorter - "No likes on Instagram?"
Typo - "Get more 2x more Engagement"
Grammar - "With your posts now seems trending, you now have a chance to get to showoff your mad skills and increase your follower base."
Please check your site on a mobile device. There are big empty spaces that seem like errors.
There are a lot of typos and grammatical mistakes in your home-page copy.
I think, the benefits mentioned on your home page are obvious. Your target audience already knows the benefits of getting more likes, right?
Instead, I'm still wondering what the product does and how it does it. Even if you don't want to write any code, you should probably make product mockups and put them on your home-page. This might help get more signups, as customers would feel like they're signing up for an "almost finished" product, rather than a concept pitch
Thanks for the valuable feedback @saurabhnanda ! Appreciate the time you put in reviewing my project.
Yes, the styling on the mobile seems to be a bit off and I was hoping the AMP one could replace this. I have a mobile optimized version at https://amp.hashtag.rocks will adjust the styling to remove the empty space on this one.
Yes but no. If everyone knows it and everyone can implement it effectively then, Instagram would have been full of Influencers having 100K followers. Even though these seem to be quite obvious or even simple, the reality of it is far from simple (I have an Instagram page where I am using it as testing grounds). I am collecting initial data and will re-visit the page structure.
Yes, this seems to be obvious and as I am still building on the concept, I am working on the details of the mockup. Will update this.
This is probably the best takeway from your review. Thanks!
