I worked with a dozen SaaS founders and every single one was treating two different problems as one, so I built Recurflux.

The 2%-of-MRR-failing-silently number is the part that should make every founder open their dashboard right now. I'm building a tiny iOS memo app solo — pre-monetization, still polishing the free experience — but reading your breakdown I realized I was treating retention as a "someday, when I have a real cohort" problem, when actually the dunning logic and pause-vs-cancel UX needs to be designed before the first paying user lapses. Nice catch, you are the only one who has seen that precation is better than cure.we are operating at every mrr, our modal works best at any mrr even if you are pre revenue. we are about to adjust our pricing that even pre mrr feels worth it. So stay on the line we are onto indie founders and we really care about them. And keep in mind that "accepting silent failures as cost of doing busines" is wrong thinking, why to loose the customer you have already won.

But the interesting part is the product already feels more infrastructure-grade than the current brand frame.

Especially once you start selling into larger SaaS teams, the naming layer starts carrying more weight than most founders expect in billing/revenue tooling.
Something like Exirra.com or Davoq.com would hold that positioning far more naturally than Recurflux if the product keeps expanding deeper into subscription infrastructure.
Appreciate the thought on positioning, and the infrastructure framing is something we think about a lot. That said, Recurflux is intentional. Founders immediately understand the motion, and in early GTM that recognition speed matters more than category prestige.
