Your next customer might already be asking for your product

I built Peitho to find people who are already talking about problems your product solves.

Most lead generation starts with a list of companies or people and then tries to figure out who might be interested.

I wanted to try the opposite approach.

People are already posting things like:

“Is there a tool that does this?”

“How are you solving this?”

“I need something that can…”

Peitho searches public conversations across Reddit, X, forums, Discord, Hacker News and other sources to find these kinds of opportunities.

It then scores the leads, explains why they look relevant, and can draft a reply based on the actual conversation.

The goal isn’t to automate outreach or blast people with spam. It’s to help founders find conversations they would probably never have found manually, then decide themselves whether there’s a reason to engage.

I’m building this as a solo founder and I’m still figuring out where it provides the most value.

There’s a free lead generation report if you want to see what it can find without creating an account or entering a card.

I’d be interested to hear how other Indie Hackers are currently finding potential customers and what part of the process takes the most time.

The workflow is clear, but the key signal is lead quality. Have founders found conversations through Peitho they would have considered genuinely high-intent after reading the original post?
