[Building in public 5.0 ]
Your solution needs to be easy to be adopted or you have to pivot.
In the first 6 months, we worked on building our product to serve big companies with incredibly complex and expensive analyses.
We thought it would be easier to break even costs and become a profitable company.
We almost did.
We achieved 8500$ MRR
But our plan was a failure.
We noticed that implementing our technology wasn’t cheap for companies, and it required 3 months to implement it.
Also, a lot of the work was done by humans, forcing us to keep high prices.
Our startup couldn't scale.
We were wrong.
That's why we pivoted
We simplified our product, focused on one "measurement" feature, and automated all the workflows
Now anyone can log in to our product, and measure what investments are driving incremental conversion for their company.
This is the first of a 3 step plan for our startup journey:
Step 1: Measure Incrementality in a Privacy-centric world
Step 2: Coming soon
Step 3: Coming soon
Cheers
