lol, I think your poll results are being skewed... seems like only us old(er) people are clicking on your post 🤷‍♀️

I was 40 when I was dead broke, and turned my life around. Now I'm 51, (not broke anymore), and still cannot get enough of the entrepreneurial bug. Age is just a number. Just that at my number, you're wiser, but a bit obsolescent, so you have to think around that.

This is such an underrated discussion! I founded my venture when I was 25. I ran it successfully for over a decade. I learned so many things during my journey that I'm way better prepared for my next journey.

I'd say that it's the experience that makes you wiser. You understand markets, products, systems and Human Resources much better no matter which path you take - entrepreneur, indie hacker or a 9-5 job.

Life begins at 40.

I love this. Check out this list of 24 people who became highly successful after age 40. One of the examples I found really surprising is:

"Donald Fisher was 40 and had no experience in retail when he and his wife, Doris, opened the first Gap store in San Francisco in 1969. The Gap's clothes quickly became fashionable, and today the company is one of the world's largest clothing chains."

...I mean, great going, but what motivated them to start a business in a sector neither of them had any experience in?...

For example, I had a successful exit in my early 30s but my most recent venture at age 40ish has yet to take off. The joy is in the journey no matter the age! It is inspiring to me to be reminded my peers are finding success as old folks. 😂
