YouTube getting rid of dislikes could be a good opportunity for you to build something.

First of all, I'm not technical at all, I got a basic understanding of a few languages, but I can't code stuff.
I was just thinking that youtube getting rid of likes can open the opportunity for someone to create an extension that allows people to see them.

My thought process.
A lot of people decide if they will watch a video or not based on the number of likes/dislikes. So, if you create an extension that allows them to see that, then they might find it useful.

The first "bump on the road"
Now, as of now, people can click the dislike buttons, but only the actual channel owners are able to see the real number, so you might have to create an insentive for channel owners to install your extension that would make that available for others to see.
(I know this can probably be way too complicated as it creates friction in the process)
Now, another way you could go around this is to try to partner up with vidIQ (or similar) because they might already be able to get that information directly from the accounts that use them.
