Zapier Alternative?

This is really a question of value. If you only need to connect two things for yourself, with high volumes, one could probably built it, for the price of many years of Zapier's service. If its for customers, nobody knows what they want to connect to.

But looking at prioritisation of your tasks, replicating Zapier is almost always secondary to features specific to your app that your customers demand, otherwise, offer Zapier and then focus on said features. Unless this is your app's purpose but that is not what you are asking.

This holds true for Any tool. How hard can it be to have a simple ticketing system, run a server. But people chose not to, because it takes away from their focus on what drives their business.

It has taken Zapier a lot of years to be where they are today.

You can certainly create something like Zapier but it would cost a lot if you hire a developer (realistically you would need at least 3-4 good developers ).

Some companies have tried to copy Zapier where they simply provide everything Zapier does with better customer service and low pricing strategy as most small startups and businesses cannot afford their pricing.

One example that I can think of is Pabbly where they recently introduced 'Pabbly Connect' which offers what Zaiper does. (I have no affiliation with them)

Surprised to see IFTTT not being mentioned here at the time of writing and recipes could be created there for free; although it's not as flexible as Zapier and certain features might not be available/work altogether e.g. Twitter search triggers.

Hi @prk. I have heard some people use Integromat as an alternative to Zapier. I am yet to use it myself but hear it is a cheaper alternative.

What's one of your use cases? I am trying to build something similar for developers: sudoapps.com
