Zentrack - Track and monitor competitor landing pages

Hi everyone,

I just launched the landing page of a new project I have. I'm trying to validate my idea and find my product market fit :

https://zentrack.landen.co/

The basic idea is to track a list of urls daily and get an alert if something change. For example, you could use that to track whenever a competitor change wording, add a new feature, change his pricing...

Any feedback on the idea/landing would be appreciated!

Thanks,

    Hi @NinoK

Like the idea, it would be very useful. I expect it will be the landing page monitor solution like how Owletter and Mailcharts monitor newsletter. Wondering what insights would you provide?

I'm also revamping the website for my small project, would be awesome to hear your feedback too :)

    Just my two cents...

I worry this type of thing would cause a founder to focus (potentially obsess) on competitors instead of focusing on their customers. If you're monitoring your competitor's landing pages and being notified whenever something changes that will almost certainly cause you to change/tweak your website (maybe unnecessarily) and also change your feature roadmap, pricing, etc even though that may not be at all in the interest of your customers. But you may feel an anxious need to do something simply because you see your competitor doing it.

    Hi there,

Check out my product https://www.func.ovh/services/monitor I do this same but by email ecosystem not dedicated app

There is also other competitors like checkablo for slack as a bot

Or big platform for that called visualping

You could add a browser extension to select elements to limit the "has something changed" results to only that area. If your userbase is tech-savy, you can let them add a css selector. This should be way easier for your MVP

Yes that sounds like a nice feature to add, I will put it in the roadmap thanks!
