Zero effort, unique social images
If you have a URL you can create a social image!
I've grown really tired of manually creating social images for every single blog post. They take way too long to create and online tools always end up looking too generic. How many stock photos can I scroll through before they all start to look the same?
So I'm building Mugshot Bot. An automated, zero work social image generator. You pass it a URL and it generates a perfectly sized, unique social image. Designs are randomized from Tailwind CSS colors and Hero Patterns.

Thanks for giving it a try! And you're right, I didn't notice that before with the image.
The copy is pulled from og:title or <title>. It looks like Reddit is causing some issues, I'll dig into that.
hackernews.com isn't actually the URL, it's https://news.ycombinator.com/news, which seems to work OK. But I think you're right that redirects aren't being handled.
Currently it only generates the one image size which works pretty well for most social sharing. But I'm working on something that will automatically resize it based on which platform the URL is posted to and scraped from.
