All pilots in different regions were postponed due to the quarantine. Working remotely. On request of the Ministry of Health we created new functionality for early alerting the population about the important news that is related to the specific region and reporting symptoms of COVID-19. https://112.in.ua/en/

After almost a half of the year, we and reaching many dozens of government instatutions, we launched a pilot in one small region Ternopil. With that, we found that much of our ideas and functions needed to be changed due to the specific work of govenment institutions. We were ready for that as we were told that we won't be able to lauch anything until it will work due to the protocols, but we won't get all thiose protocols unless we launch our product. Magic circle.

We created a focus group with the people with disabilities and activists who helped us to upgrade our UI, generated many ideas for different features. Thanks to them, 112.in.ua changed a lot and became a much better product. Enhanced accessibility services are much easier to use now, and our application as now truly accessible

Helping others is a big deal. Starting with small help for the Ukrainian Society of the Deaf I didn't notice when it grew into this project with a great idea. I was studying accessibility and inclusiveness at the Unversity and I always wanted to help people, but I loved working with code, so now, having my outsourcing company, this project feels like I'm doing the right thing.
