Creating and integrating interactive collectibles
Theories abound about how different colours affect our moods, emotions, and even physical reactions. While there is no scientific evidence to support many of these claims, some colours, such as red, are believed to increase energy levels and even produce feelings of excitement. Colours like blue are supposed to help calm and relax the mind and are associated with lower blood pressure and heart rate, as well as helping to promote a sense of calmness. In some hospitals, the colour green is used in waiting rooms and other areas where patients and families are likely to experience stress and anxiety. Bright colours like yellow are shown to increase the likelihood of feeling happy.
Colours can have a profound effect on our mood and emotions. While different colours can evoke different feelings, the three primary colours tend to create a sense of balance and calmness. If you're feeling stressed or overwhelmed, spending time in a space with lots of blue or green can help you feel more relaxed. If you're feeling sad or down, adding a pop of yellow or orange can help brighten your mood. And if you're upset or frustrated, red can help you feel more grounded.
The next time you feel a little off, look around and see if you can incorporate some of these colours into your environment to help you feel better.
